Marty Vellner
President, Owner
Marty is the 3rd generation of the Vellner family to serve Central Albertans in a dealership ownership role. Growing up in the RV business and working from the wash bay up through most of the dealership's roles has given him a strong sense of the teamwork and commitment required to meet the expectations of the RV enthusiast of today. The RV Lifestyle fits well with Marty’s love for travel and outdoor adventure, a love he shares with his wife Tikki and their 3 teenage boys. Most weekends are spent chasing after the boys' various sporting involvements. A Red Deer resident his entire life, Marty enjoys giving back to the community through his active involvement with numerous charitable organizations including over the past years the Piper Creek Optimist Club, The Ron MacLean Foundation, The Red Deer College Foundation and numerous sporting groups. As free time permits, Marty indulges his passion for snow skiing, golf, and all things on the water including his newest love, sailing.
Ronanne Ashton
General Manager
Ronanne joined the Vellner team in September of 1987, fresh out of high school. As the years have gone by, Ronanne has proved to be the “glue” that holds the team together. Her knowledge of the dealership, RV industry and strong personnel skills directed our team choice to announce her appointment of General Manager on January 1, 2007.
Her busy life includes time with her two teenage sons, and a passion for 5:30 am workouts at the gym. Take the time, come in and say Hi, she would love to meet you.
Nicole Walliser
Bookkeeper
Nicole moved to Red Deer with her family in 2003. Having spent several years employed with a public accounting firm, and then most recently in the oilfeild sector, she brings many years of diverse experience in the accounting industry and is thrilled to join the Vellner team.
Leisure time is spent with her husband Ken and four teenage children. Other passions include scuba-diving, golfing, skiing, camping, travelling and many other activites that get her outside and active!
Lois Muddle
Administrative Assistant
Lois got her start in the RV industry at Vellners 16 years ago. She started as a receptionist and eventually moved into the Parts & Service Departments. After taking some time off to start a family, Lois has returned to Vellners and now works in the Accounting Department as an Administrative Assistant.
Lois and her husband Chris recently purchased their first RV and are looking forward to getting out camping with their family.
Brenda Kraynyk
Receptionist
Brenda is our Receptionist. She joined the Vellner team in 2004. Brenda enjoys her unique position in the company; greeting customers, answering calls, taking and relaying messages as well as maintaining the inventory on the website. She enjoys using her creativity taking photos of customers and RV's and making signs for all kinds of projects.
In her spare time Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband, taking photographs, scrapbooking, reading and camping. Her cheerful laugh can be heard throughout the dealership

Ian Babcock
Sales Consultant
Ian has been employed with Vellners as an RV Sales Associate for 5 years. If you don't find him on the sales floor eagerly helping customers, you will find him in front of the BBQ cooking up something for the staff.
At home, he enjoys time with his wife Kelly and three daughters, who keep him very busy with hockey and soccer.
Lenore Bachand
Sales Consultant
Lenore started with Vellner Leisure Products in June of 1997 as receptionist. For the past 10 years, she has networked with RV lovers from across the country and around the world and has met new friends who to this day, stop in to say hi and swap their RV travel stories with her. With her zest for life and a passion for RV'ing, Lenore took on a new challenge and joined the Vellner Sales Team. Along with being an enthusiastic team member, Lenore takes time to enjoy the acreage life with her husband Richard of 39 years. There she helps run their trucking business and in her spare time enjoys her beautiful gardens and flowerbeds. They have two wonderful daughters and 1 fabulous son-in-law; soon to be 2 in April of 2008; who all reside in the Red Deer area. With her many years of camping and traveling adventures across North American and Mexico under her belt, she looks forward to the years to come as RV'ing has taken on a whole new meaning with their newly purchased Dutch Star diesel pusher. Safe travels and may every road lead to a new adventure.
Lorie Konsmo
Sales Consultant
Lorie has been around Central Alberta all of his life. He and his wife Brenda have raised their 4 children in Red Deer. They were both involved in businesses in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake for 27 years. Lorie is very active in the community and enjoys camping and fishing. His hobby is singing with the Wildrose Harmonizers Barbershop Chorus in Red Deer. Lorie also sings with his Quartet ("B" Natural). They have been performing in Central Alberta for 10 years.
Lorie has a great knowledge of the RV industry and would love the chance to earn your business. Enjoy the RV Lifestyle!
Travis Mogck
Sales Consultant
Travis is new to the RV Industry having spent the last 5 years in automotive sales and working with his wife Tanya building her business. Together with their 3 children, they enjoy the outdoors through camping, boating and snowboarding.
Winter months are filled with Travis playing hockey and volunteering with Blackfalds Minor Hockey coaching their oldest son.

Kevin Fuson
Sales Consultant
Kevin has been involved in sales for more than 15 years and is very excited to be in the RV Industry today. Being a customer oriented sales person, Kevin knows that a satisfied customer is not the same as a "raving fan". Kevin wants his customers to be "raving fans" of the RV Lifestyle!
When away from the sales floor, Kevin and his wife Trina enjoy camping in the Rockies and travelling to Cuba. Kevin also enjoys making wine at home and playing games with friends.
Steve Neumann
Sales Consultant
Steve is new to the Red Deer area and to the RV industry. Afterworking in the welding industry for the last ten years he looks forward to the change of pace and meeting new people.
In his spare time Steve enjoys riding and working on his sportbike, working around the house, tinkering in the garage and spending time with friends and family. Living in Sylvan Lake with his girlfriend Gaylene and her two kids will keep him busy year round with various sports and much time spent at the lake in both the summer and winter months.
Steve is happy to leave the hustle and bustle of the big city of Calgary behind and to start a new and exciting career with Vellner.

Peter is a true family man. His greatest enjoyment is spending time with his family at their cabin in Gull Lake – whether it be fishing or pulling his kids around the lake on a tube in the summer, or snowmobiling in the winter.
With his 25 years experience in the RV parts and service industry, Peter takes great pride in providing his customers with a superior level of service and ensuring their RVing experience is the very best it can be.
Bill Duffin
RV Partsman
Bill has been involved in the Parts field for about 8 years and has been a Partsman with Vellner's since 2005. When not at work, he can be found fishing or tinkering around with old cars.
Bill loves the challenge of his position and looks forward to many years delivering the excellent level of service our great customers at Vellners have come to expect.
Don Weinberger
Service Manager
Don was born and raised in Saskatchewan and is married with 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He moved to Red Deer in 1983 and has worked in service most of his life, in either the automotive or RV industries.
Don brings to the Vellner team a wealth of experience including owning and operating his own business for 6 years and RV Industry service experience totalling 14 years.
In his free time Don enjoys golfing, hockey and baseball.
Robert Brilz
Service / Warranty Writer
Robert is a lifelong central Albertan, having been born and raised in the Red Deer area. Having spent 8 years in the service industry, 6 years as an automotive technician and 2 years as an RV service writer, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge to our service team. You will always find him with a smile on his face and happy to assist you with you’re service needs.
In his spare time Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing poker and getting active outdoors with skiing, golf and camping.
Darrel Goldsack
Journeyman RV Technician
Journeyman Electrician
Darrell is married with two children. His son Drew is on the Canadian Cross Country Ski team and competed for Canada at the 2006 Torino Olympics. His daughter Jodi is a Grade 3 teacher for the Red Deer Public School System. Darrell and Jenan, his wife of 27 years, enjoy camping, cross country skiing, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.
Darrell has lived in Red Deer for the past 30 years and been involved in the RV industry for 27 years.
Allan Gordon
Journeyman RV Technician
Allan has been in the RV industry for 30 years, 10 years in the manufacturing sector and 20 years on the service side. He is constantly amazed at the changes he's seen in RVs over those 30 years but his experience is invaluable when it comes to troubleshooting and problem solving to meet the customers' needs.
In his free time, Allan enjoys time with family camping, hiking, siteseeing, golfing and BBQing. He also enjoys working around the house and yard, remodeling as well as refinishing old furniture pieces.

Technician
Brian is a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician and joined the Vellner team in January of 2007 to pursue a career in the RV industry. He is currently working toward his Journeyman RV Technician certification.
His hobbies include anything to do with computers, assembly, programming and gaming, restoring old vehicles and building remote control aircraft and go-karts for his children.
By night, Brian roams the cyberworld reigning terror on unsuspecting cyber surfers.
David Blackmon
Journeyman RV Technician
Dave moved to Red Deer fom Smithers, B.C. in the fall of 2006 to join the Vellner team. He is a second year RV Technician apprentice.
Dave grew up camping with his family along B.C.'s coast. He has always maintained a love of the outdoors whether camping with friends and amily or playing hockey with his son.
Dave looks forward to finishing his apprenticeship and continuing to gain knowledge through the experience of his co-workers.
Elaine Sand
Reconditioning
Elaine joined the Vellner service team in the fall of 2007 in a reconditioning role, an area she has worked in for over 10 years.
Elaine has lived in Red Deer all of her life. In her free time she enjoys watching hockey (especially the Oilers), spending time with her family and generally enjoying the outdoors.
Don Stewart
Lot Technician
Don has been working in the RV Industry for the past 16 months and takes a great deal of pride in his work. Don realy goes the extra mile to make sure our dealership looks fantastic.
Don enjoys hunting, camping, darts, 4x4ing and spending time with family and friends but what he really takes pleasure in is volunteering at seniors centers with his son.
Don McMillan
Orientation Tech
Don has been invloved in the Service side of the RV industry for 23 years as a journeyman technician and rejoined the Vellner team in spring of 2008 in a part time role as an Orientation Tech, helping customers become familiar with their new RV's.
Don is enjoying semi-retirement. He enjoys golf and spending his winters in Arizona with his wife.
